Kendra & Clay’s Historic Trolley Barn Wedding – Atlanta, GA

Nestled in the heart of Atlanta, the historic Trolley Barn in Atlanta was the perfect setting for Kendra and Clay’s wedding. Their special day was a perfect blend of vintage romance, vibrant springtime vibes, and unforgettable moments. Here’s a glimpse into their love-filled celebration at this iconic Atlanta venue.

Kendra and Clay are both native Atlantans. They chose the Trolley Barn not only for its stunning aesthetics but also for its deep-rooted connection to their beloved city. Located in Inman Park, it was built in 1889 as the terminus for Atlanta’s first street car company: Atlanta and Edgewood Street Railway Company. The Trolley Barn housed the offices of the streetcar company and the maintenance depot for the electric cars. Throughout it’s history, the Trolley Barn has been used as a church, a basketball court, a farmer’s market, for various mercantile activities, and as a storage and repair facility for antiques. Now, it hosts events off all kinds.

Among the it’s many charms, Kendra and Clay were particularly captivated by the scenic garden in the back and the striking rafters inside. These features provided picturesque backdrops for both their ceremony and reception. After rain in the forecast all week, the weather ended up being perfect for their ceremony in the garden.

After a cocktail hour where they were able to mingle a little bit with their guests, Kendra and Clay’s reception was held inside with the band Sweetwater Junction providing non-stop fun. Before the wedding, Kendra said she was most looking forward to the party and dancing and the band did not disappoint!
